Talmud Torah Dvir in Shalavim consists of 230 students from Grades 1 to 8.
* Torah education in a Zionistic environment.
* Warm atmosphere that individually matches each student’s personality and spiritual level.
* Morning hours are dedicated completely to Limudai Kodesh.
* Learning Torah 365 days a year! (Even during regular Ministry of Education holidays.)
* Learning according to tradition: “a child of 5 years begins Scriptures; a child of 10 years begins Mishnah…” (Avot 5, 21)
* Completing the entire Chumash and Navi’im Rishonim with accurate understanding and proficiency.
* Learning Mishna thoroughly and comprehensively.
* Secular subjects taught according to Ministry of Education standards.
* Developing thinking, expressing and writing strategies.
* Wide range of social activities – school trips, lectures and various campus activities.
Talmud Torah Dvir is an excellent springboard for the best Yeshiva high schools.
Purpose
The purpose of the project is to significantly expand the Talmud Torah by building additional classrooms in memory of our dear alumnus, Ya’akov Naftali Fraenkel HY”D, and by completing the Beit Midrash that was founded in memory of the three kidnapped boys
