Tmarim School was founded a little over a decade ago, by a group of parents who had a dream. These parents wanted to provide an education that was different. An education that was full of creativity and curiosity, whilst maintaining a strong connection to the fundamentals of Judaism.
Tmarim is home to 174 students. It attracts families from a variety of yishuvim, both religious and non-religious.
The School operates with a Waldorf approach, encouraging a love of learning through exploration and curiosity. With the use of art, imagination and endless creativity, the children are engaged and enthusiastic, thereby enabling them first and foremost to learn more about themselves and their surroundings, and to then reach their greatest potential in many different fields.
After over a decade of working within the school, it is time to spread the message and recruit additional team members. Those who want to help us improve the educational system in Israel, more specifically in the Negev, not just in words, but in reality.
If Sustainable education speaks to you, and you believe children should learn out of curiosity, experience, imagination and creativity- JOIN US!
You too can make a difference and impact the educational system. You can change education in the southern periphery!
We set out in this crowd sourcing fundraiser so that Tmarim School can continue to develop its educational programs. We want to be a learning center that can take in every child whose parents believe in this educational approach, no matter their financial situation. We want to continue inspiring educators and offer support to those who wish to visit our school and make changes to the public schools in Israel.
We invite you to partner with us!
