Tamar's House
Buidling a house of lovingkindness for people with Cancer
General background:
Five years ago, our daughter Tamar was diagnosed with Cancer out of the blue.
Life with an ill child is very challenging in many aspects, especially when there is a significant geographical distance.
As a family, we have used often the solutions around the Schnieder hospital so Tamar could be with us, her family, and that we can give her the support she needs.
In times of difficult treatments that made the travel complicated for Tamar, we stayed close to the hospital. This effort helped her mental health.
Two and a half years ago, our Tamari passed away at 16 after a long uphill battle with Cancer.
This year in honor of her 19th birthday, we have started a project to build a house of giving and lovingkindness next to Haemek hospital in Afula.
The project aims at providing help and assistance to the families of the patients dealing with cancer. Every family will receive support and aid according to its needs, as part of Tamar's will.
We'd be grateful if you can take a small part in a great endeavor.
