I am happy to present to you the details of the 3 floors building -total:1200sq. meters that will be a structure that will make a real change in the lives of the Yeshiva's students…
A.
Main floor: Expansion and Renewal of the Yeshiva Dining Hall
Our yeshiva dining hall was built 26 years ago. Its 300 sq. meters were built to accommodate 200 students and 50 staff. As of today (2019) the dining hall functions as follows:
Approximately 550 people eat in our dining hall every day, 400 students, 65 senior citizens who participate in our study program for the elderly, and 80 staff members.
In order to accommodate everyone currently eating in our dining hall and to prepare for more development in the coming years, in which we expect to have 600 diners per day, we must expand our dining hall. We need to add another 400 sq. meters to the existing building, as well as 100 sq. meters to the kitchen to allow our kitchen staff the space it needs to feed so many people.
B.
On the basement floor we are building a large fitness center of 250 sq. meters
Our graduates combine a high motivation for both Torah learning and army service. Almost all of our graduates thank G-d who finish their studies at the Yeshiva enlist in the IDF.
They want to give their maximum to benefit the state of Israel. They strive to serve in the most important combat units in the army.
We need to help them by building a professional fitness center with the proper equipment. This center will help hundreds of boys to train and prepare themselves for the challenging tasks awaiting them in the army.
We want to build it equipped for 60 students to work out together. This will provide a healthy social environment essential for the body and soul.
This center will bring much happiness and will be the highlight for the youth of all ages.
In addition, the soldiers serving in the area will be able to have free membership and to enjoy working out there.
C.
-On the top- building a center of 400 sq meters for special therapy for the learning disabled.
Our Yeshiva caters to about 100 special education students, who are integrated in the general student body. This promotes self-confidence, and restores self-respect.
We have planned therapeutic classrooms in a variety of fields of such as music, drawing, carpentry, ceramics, movement therapy, sensory therapy and more.
This project will promote perseverance and enable them to overcome learning and emotional problems that result from a sense of failure from their past experiences. The art center will give them an opportunity to excel in new skills. This will enable them to cope with their difficult challenges in learning.
B''H we just finished to build the shell of a three-story building. in order to complete the building we need 7,000,000 shekels. We have received pledges of ₪3,500,000 ($970,000) shekels that will match every shekel donation that we will receive from the public.
