Our grandfather, Rabbi Ruby Aberman z”l, and grandmother, Chaya Lea Aberman z”l, were committed Zionists who believed in the love for the land of Israel and its settlements. They were people of Halacha, Hachnasat Orchim, and love of their fellow man. They were influential educators and had many students who they loved and cared for deeply.

As their grandsons, we were blessed to absorb their deep Torah knowledge, their constant life values, and their superior midot; and have been thinking about what we could do to honor their memory.

A few months ago, our middle brother, Yoni, with his wife, Malka, and their three daughters moved to Kerem Reim, a new settlement in the hills of Judah and Samaria.
Kerem Reim was established 10 years ago, in the name of three young friends who were tragically killed while serving in the IDF. The first people that settled in Kerem Reim drove through unpaved roads, and today B"H the community has grown to more than 120 families, and is expected to double in number in the next few years. In order to have a central place for daavening, learning and community events, the Yishuv has began construction on a shul in the heart of Kerem Reim.

We have decided that there is no better place than the new Beit Knesset in Kerem Reim, to honor our grandparent's memory. We have committed to help financially in the construction of the shul by donating a sfarim book shelf in their memory. The Torah books that were such a center in our grandparent's home, will be now a center component in the shul of Kerem Reim.

We would be honored if you would join us in maintaining the loving memory of our dear grandparents, Rabbi Ruby and Chaya Lea Aberman, Z"l, by contributing to this fundraiser
