Continuing Avraham’s Heroism
The campaign “Continuing Avraham’s Heroism” is a call to action, to growth, and to continuity — born from the depths of pain.
It was launched in response to the heroic death of Avraham Azulai z”l, a brave and selfless 25-year-old warrior and Torah scholar from Yitzhar, who fell in battle in the heart of the Gaza Strip.
On Tuesday, 1st of Tammuz 5785 (July 9, 2025), during an engineering operation near Khan Yunis, terrorists attempted to kidnap Avraham from the cockpit of his armored vehicle.
Avraham identified the threat and fought them off at point-blank range — alone — until he was critically wounded and fell in battle.
In death, as in life, he displayed rare courage, unwavering devotion to his mission, and deep love for his people and his land.
Since the beginning of the war, Avraham had served over 250 days of voluntary reserve duty. He was among the first to enter Gaza — and among the last to leave. He served with humility, quiet strength, and true heroism.
Following his death, in the midst of immense grief and with great faith, his family chose to continue his path:
To bring life to the hills. To build. To root themselves in the Land.
They set out to establish and strengthen three new points of Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria — strategic points that will block the spread of unauthorized Arab construction and strengthen Jewish territorial continuity — as an act of legacy, bravery, and loyalty to the path Avraham lived and believed in.
This campaign invites all of Am Yisrael to take part — to become partners in a pioneering, Zionist, and faith-driven mission.
Together, we will continue Avraham’s heroism and build the Land of Israel.
