We are building Beit Gilad - youth and education center in Shiloh!
"In a place where there are no men, try to be a man, and in a place where there are men – try to be first”
These words were spoken by Gilad to his brother, Pe'er, two weeks before his death in the battle in Gaza, words that reflect the character of Gilad and his friends, who took responsibility for the future of the country.
Gilad smiled all the time - during his activity in the youth movement, in his yeshiva studies and in his military service.
You can't stop that smile!
In his memory, we, the residents of Shiloh and his family, have decided to establish an education and youth center that will continue Gilad's life's work and raise youth who are committed to giving to our society and country.
"Beit Gilad" will include a training center, a meeting space for workshops and lectures and a library.
The center will be used as an activity place for youth and a place of meeting and unity for youth from all over the country.
"Beit Gilad" will include an expanded Bnei Akiva branch, will integrate the youth movement into the extensive educational work, and its visitors will be partners in the various trainings and activities.
Be partners with us in the rest of his life's song!
