Synagogue at 'Shomrei HaEmek' – Guarding the Emek Shilo
The "Shomrei HaEmek" farm was established 5 years ago in the heart of Emek Shilo, on historically significant Jewish land. The farm operates as a strategic settlement point and as part of the security effort to protect the land and the Jewish presence in the area.
Dozens of young men and six families live on the farm, dedicated to guarding the place and ensuring the continuation of Jewish settlement. Despite difficult conditions, with no electricity and basic infrastructure, life here is lived with deep faith and great devotion.
Our goal is to complete the construction of the synagogue at the heart of the farm, which will serve as a center for study, prayer, and minyanim, functioning with electricity and proper infrastructure. As our sages said, "The voice is the voice of Jacob" – when Jacob’s voice is heard in synagogues, "the hands are not the hands of Esau." A synagogue is the Jewish heart of every Jewish settlement.
The completion of the synagogue and the farm’s infrastructure will provide better and holier living conditions for the residents, enhance security, and allow for the settlement of additional families in the area.
