We Continue to Build and Illuminate - In the Path of Aviad Neiman Hy”d

Aviad Neiman Hy”d (31) was a man of action and vision. At a young age, he married Shir (née Mendelson) and was a devoted and loving father to their four children: Chagai (12), Tzuriya (9), Carmi (8), and Rafael (4).

Out of a deep sense of mission, he joined the Golani Brigade after the birth of his eldest son, to always be ready to do his part in Israel’s battles. He was one of the founders of the "Giv'ah" neighborhood in Mitzpeh Yericho, into which he poured his energy and resources.

"Take life easy," he wrote to himself in his personal notes, "Pay attention to the little details most people miss." And indeed, everywhere he went, he became a source of kindness and giving. He had a unique ability to recognize the needs of others, connect people, and build relationships. His deep bond with the Land of Israel and yearning for the Temple were integral to his personality.

Aviad fell heroically in battle during the Swords of Iron War in Lebanon, after serving 240 days of dedicated service in the reserves. His unique character continues to inspire and strengthen thousands of people, even those who never met him.

We are continuing his legacy in several ways:

Completing the synagogue of the Giv'ah that was so dear to his heart, which he built with his own hands and funded from his savings; establishing the "Aviad Fund" as a support fund providing assistance to families; Torah initiatives; promoting Temple awareness; and the founding of “Beit Aviad” in Jerusalem – a center for spreading light and kindness to students and the elderly in the city center.

Join us in continuing Aviad's path of kindness, faith, giving, and action – a path that still illuminates and strengthens today.
