Who We Are

💙 Im Tirtzu is an Israeli non-profit organization that has grown to become the largest and most influential grassroots Zionist organization in Israel.

💙 Established in 2006, our mission concerning Zionism and its values has always been dual pronged: to advance the good and to confront the bad. As such, we play a key role in the development of the next generation of committed and aware Zionist leaders of Israel.

💙 With 20 campus branches, 6,000 volunteer activists and the largest Hebrew social media following of any pro-Israel organization, Im Tirtzu has become a household name as the leading pro-Israel voice in Israel.

Campaign Goals

A. 'Filming the Filmers' Project – Safeguarding IDF Soldiers From Radical Left-Wing Harassers and Provocateurs

In recent years, there has been a growing phenomenon in Israel in which radical activists seek out IDF soldiers on active duty in order to film, harass and threaten them. The soldiers, who are trained to confront terrorists and not radical activists, have had their hands tied and have trouble coping with this harmful phenomenon.

We therefore took it upon ourselves to film, expose and deter these activists ourselves. After hours of filming, we've logged a number of achievements, including ousting anti-Israel groups like EAPPI and TIPH, and preventing anarchists and 'BDS tourists' from filming soldiers. In addition, our filmers have also documented inciting protests by Israeli-Arab Islamists across the country.

This is just the tip of the iceberg – there is still much work to be done: more filming, legal action and work with decision makers, all of which demand sizable resources.

B. Im Tirtzu's Civilian Branches – Defending Israel From Anarchy

Radical actors are currently attempting to import the civil unrest in America to Israel in order to achieve their political goals.

As a counter to this anarchy, Im Tirtzu is establishing civilian branches that will lead on-the-ground activities and protests with the goal of preserving Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.

We therefore are asking for your support in order to meet the vast logistical requirements of this initiative, including the establishment and maintenance of the branches, transportation, advocacy materials, and more.

C. Standing Up Against the Activist Overreach of Israel's High Court and Justice System – Safeguarding Israel as a Jewish and Democratic State

In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the dangers posed by an increasingly activist and politically-driven Israeli High Court of Justice.

For years Im Tirtzu has been sounding an alarm about this situation, but now, as the Court increasingly continues to overstep its democratic mandate and completely disregard the separation of powers, it is imperative to affect real change and restore our elected officials' capacity to govern.

Currently, Im Tirtzu is engaged in judicial proceedings, legal pressure, High Court petitions, widespread public campaigns and non-stop work with elected officials aimed at correcting the current situation.

But we have a long way to go, and for this we need your support.

Core Activities
Student Branches - Im Tirtzu operates 20 campus branches in universities and colleges across the country and engages more than 6,000 student volunteers or participants annually.

Mutual Responsibility in Society - One of Im Tirtzu's main goals is to develop a sense of solidarity and mutual responsibility among the different communities in Israel. Starting from 2006, hundreds of thousands of students and citizens have volunteered with Im Tirtzu: We helped Holocaust survivors; assisted new immigrants; worked alongside farmers in the Negev and the Galilee; volunteered in towns in the Gaza periphery; contributed to the integration of minorities; distributed snacks to soldiers; helped out in times of emergency; planted trees; and much more.

Public Campaigns - Im Tirtzu has a significant impact on public discourse through our ongoing efforts and widespread public campaigns.

Zionist Thought - Im Tirtzu works to develop modern Zionist thought. As part of this, we've published a wide array of booklets on different topics concerning Israel, a "Hagada" for Israel Independence Day, Zionist writing contests, magazines and hundreds of articles relating to the development of Zionist thought and Zionist thinking. We've also held hundreds of talks, lectures and conferences on a vast array of topics.

The Knesset - As Im Tirtzu's activities influence the public agenda, our materials often serve as inspiration for legislation and other parliamentary action. Over the years Im Tirtzu has also spearheaded and participated in a number of different caucuses, including the Caucus for the Fight Against the Delegitimization of the State of Israel, the Israel Victory Caucus, the Caucus for the Encouragement and Advancement of Minorities Serving in the IDF and National Service, and more. We also operate the "Zionist-Democratic Knesset Guard" that aims to ensure the advancement of activities by MKs to strengthen the Jewish-Zionist and democratic character of the State of Israel.

Legal Division - Im Tirtzu has been working in the legal field for years, but recently we've increased our legal activities with the establishment of our own Legal Division. Our Legal Division aims to combat the destructive effects of anti-Israel lawfare, terrorism, and delegitimization from within. Our Legal Division also helps various societal groups whose values align ours, such as bereaved families, disabled IDF veterans, IDF reservists and students.
