Our beloved Yedidya served as a Captain in the Givati Brigade, 52nd Battalion, 401st Brigade. In the army, he performed his duties with great professionalism, endless dedication to the mission and a personal approach to each individual soldier. In the heat of battle, for the existence of the State of Israel, the heart and home of our nation, he fought bravely, saved friends lives and encouraged his soldiers. Yedidya fell in a battle in the North of the Gaza Strip on Rosh Chodesh Kislev. He departed to heaven bravely with responsibility and courage.
In his memory and honor we will build 'Ein Yedidya' near the town of Tal Menashe - the first natural spring in Northern Samaria, a lookout and a path that will bring to light his special way of command, the Path of Leadership.
Ein Yedidya, a place of life and movement and two wading pools.
A place that the general public can enjoy and get to know and be inspired by Yedidya’s values and personality.
